What Customers Say About Plantronics MX510-N3 Mobile Headset for Nokia Pop-Port Phones:

Lucky I only use it in my car for very short conversations, otherwsie I doubt if I would keep it. On the one hand, it has a supperb sound quality - as expected from Plantronics. I find it hard to rate this product. I think that piece was designed for a very different ear then mine. I'm able to have conversations while driving where my car stereo is blasting yet I'm heard lout and clear on the other end and have no problem with hearing the caller. However, when it comes to the design. The ear piece is awkwardly attached to the ear from the bottom and relyig on squishing my earlobe betweem the two parts of the ear piece. After a while is just hurts. I guess my ear is a bit to small for it.Still overall I'm happy with it. So hence a 4 star rating.
The Plantronics earbud/headset is the best product of its class that I've found. They both work perfectly. The earpiece also does a fine job with reception.
None of them worked right, if at all. I've used it several weeks now with no problems. I have bought several earbuds made by Cingular for my old pop-port Nokia phone.
The wire has an off switch with volume control and microphone mute--a thoughtful feature. Nokia or Cingular does not support this phone any more (with accessories). The Plantronics product is comfortable in the ear after you figure out how to wear it. The microphone stems from the earbud like a headset and is crystal clear I am told.
In fact, I purchased one for the wife too. I highly recommend it if you have one of the older Nokia phones and don't want to change calling plans to get a new one.
Great headset to leave at your desk at the office, I wouldn't travel with it. Comfortable for long conference calls and worked easily with my Nokia phone.
